There you are, one of my favorites pictures ever. She's Sharbat Gula, an Afghan girl. The picture was taken by Steve McCurr, a photographer of National Geography (and it's also one of the most famous photo that have been published).
The picture was taken in July of 1984, when she was 12.
I like this picture, because, as maybe you read the previous post, I love eyes, I love what they can express, what they can make me feel. And this photo is a proof of that. When I see the picture, I can feel the deep of her emotion, it seems that I can feel the anger, the pain, as if I know that her life isn't easy, it's like her look is going to through me. And I love too, that I have the certain that she only look at the camera, that she wasn't posing.
What doy you think about this picture? I like it even if it doesn't make me feel happy.
